Welcome! East City Sound is a dynamic chorus (choir) of women singing four part a cappella harmony in barbershop style. We perform regularly throughout the community for a wide variety of audiences, led by our talented director, Robyn Westwood. Colourful costumes and lively choreography contribute to a musical and visual entertainment of the highest quality to suit any occasion. Our repertoire includes traditional ballads, classic songs, popular show tunes, Australian songs and mainstream music.

East City Sound offers a fun and friendly environment where the joy of singing is as important as the quality of our singing. We rehearse on Thursday nights at Boronia West Primary School, Tormore Road, Boronia. VIC (Melway 64 J8) from 7.30pm till 10pm, followed by a cup of tea and a chat.

We are always seeking new members so if you love to sing, come along and visit on a Thursday evening! But be warned:

“Singing barbershop is addictive and seriously good for your health!”
